Unboxing a metal print

This is my first metallic HD metal print I have ever ordered.  It is always a little unnerving to order something somewhat expensive, and hope it turns out like you imagine.  Print density, exposure, colour matching; all scary words when you need to work from your monitor calibration to a specific printer with specific mediums and substrates.

The first one I received was actually about 1 stop (photography term that basically means Pretty dark…) from my calibrated monitor. Sorta Thankfully, there was a manufacturing defect so I was able to re-order with adjusting my exposure and white balance.  This one turned out great!

All the photographs on my website can be ordered in a variety of finishes and materials; regular prints, canvas, encapsulated acrylic (my favourite) metal etc.   Each webpage in my store shows the photograph in different  rooms, and materials.  I can also take any room photograph and place a piece of my art on its walls to ensure it looks great, and you don’t have to worry about it being the right size, right colour, as I always do when I order something for my home!
