Yellowstone / Grand Tetons
The Yellowstone and the Teton National Parks are two magnificent reserves straddling Montana and Wyoming. Yellowstone being a giant super volcano and its diversity of large native animals like bison and wolves, makes for a photographers paradise. The Teton range, made famous by Ansel Adams, is another beautiful range of mountains with very interesting towns in close location like Jackson Hole Wy.
